Alignment Model

The alignment model is a conceptual framework that states can adapt to meet their specific needs. The model is intentionally constructed with a policy foundation and employer demand at the base. State certificate policies must guide the certificate programs. And, employer demand is the cornerstone of program sustainability. Upon this base, each of the supply-side partners can align to provide essential workplace skills to the individuals they serve. Then, economic developers can use the certificate database to articulate the workplace skill levels available in the region to new and expanding employers. Finally, leadership from the Governor's office is illustrated as a capstone for the certificate program. More inforation is available via the document links to the right.
